2024 FALL RECAP
MBD FALL INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAM
HS/College Development Program and Individual Instruction
EVALUATE, PLAN, EXECUTE, USE RESOURCES, MAKE ADJUSTMENTS, GROW
Through both the MBD HS & College Development Program and individual lessons, Coach Matthews worked individually with 14 players throughout the fall to provide advanced development for the physical and mental skills of the game.
The HS Development Program is a professional style, all encompassing operation that provides on and off field development as well as advisement for academic and athlete placement at the collegiate level.
Individual player sessions for hitting and defense are available for players ages 11+ and are offered in several scheduling formats.
“Not only did Brian guide me through the MLB Draft and signing process but he was also very influential in my commitment to West Point. Brian has continued to advise me on many aspects of life such as workouts, summer baseball, and overall life goals. I feel very fortunate to have this mentorship from Brian as it has developed me into a better player and person.” -Sam Ruta, Army West Point 2024 Grad

The 2024 Fall Development Program concluded at the end of October with the Stingers first ever Halloween Game. 16 players, ages 11-13, participated in individual and team development across 15 sessions, internal games, and two tournaments. The program also consisted of four event days: Program Media Day, Joint Practice with the Dallastown High School Program, Stingers Challenge Day, and the Halloween Game. I want to thank the MBD players and coaches for their work ethic, enthusiasm, and commitment to each other and the program.
